Ocelot – Pygmy Leopard

Ocelot (or Leopardus pardalis), also known as pygmy leopard is carnivorous mammal of the cat family, whose habitat is South and Central America and Mexico. However, as reported, this animal is also found in more northern regions up to Texas, as well as on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. Ocelot is similar in appearance to an ordinary house cat. His fur looks like fur clouded leopard or jaguar. Colouring hair ocelot – a yellowish-brown with black ring-shaped spots, fur inside the rings are somewhat darker than around them.
